July 4th with Nana and Papa

We celebrated Tyler's birthday and the 4th of July with his parents who came in from MI.  Although they have been to the city 7 times in the last three years we still managed to find new and different places to see and eat.  Some of the highlights: Yankees Game, Brooklyn Bridge, manmade Waterfalls, Mary Poppins and Fireworks on the FDR (in the rain of course).

For the second year in a row we waited for the 4th of July fireworks in the rain, thankfully it let up before they began.  Let's pray for good weather next year, as I'm not sure I can drag everyone out for a third year in the rain.

Thanks Nana and Papa for a great weekend.  See you in a couple weeks.

Looks like a fun visit. I'm pretty sure you couldn't drag us out into the rain for fireworks either so good luck with that one. Chase looks so big and grow up these days. Really cute pic at the game!
