The beginning...

We are finally bloggers...Yes, we have decided to join the blogger community so here we go.

What's up with the Christensen's? After two and half years Tyler has left Ogilvy and American Express, to work with Disney at mcgarry bowen. Needless to say he has had a crash course in Disney characters - Who is Prince Philip? He is excited for the new opportunity; we'll keep you posted.

Chase is the highlight of our day, we wakes with smile and well goes down with cry. He is doing great. He has master the army crawl and is working on all fours; it would help if we had carpet! He also loves to walk along the walls, furniture anything he can get his hands on.

This past weekend we ventured out to Brooklyn and had a great time. We walked around parts of Brooklyn Heights we saw, Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims, a number of beautiful Federal-style houses and Monroe Place and stopped by Five Guys for a great hamburger. We also stopped by the Farmer Market, played on the swings and walked along the East River.

I wish I could say we had a great night however, we watched Michigan lose, need I say more? We also watched BYU vs. UCLA – at least we showed up to the game!

Also, the last week of August Chase attended his first US Open (Tennis) and a Yankees vs. Red Sox game with my dad, brother and brother-in-law who were in town. We had a great time.

Love the blog. Dan and I want to go to Brooklyn, but don't know what to do once we get there. It was great to see a few suggestions!

Yay!! Welcome to the blog universe, especially the Harlem blog universe. I didn't know Tyler left Ogilvy, but I think Disney would be much more entertaining than American Express. I love it and congrats. nikki kelly (nixmusings.blogspot.com)
