Our little princess arrived on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 6:56 am, weighing in at 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2"The other night I mentioned to Tyler that although Riley was only a week old I felt like she had been with us forever (in a good way). I remember feeling the same way with Chase, yet your life is never the same once you bring these sweet spirits into your homes/lives. I have felt very blessed lately to have two healthy, beautiful little ones in my life, they bring so much joy and happiness. Although it can be overwhelming at times and I often question if I'm doing all I can to help them reach their full potential, I wouldn't change it for the world. I love you Riley and Chase, your smiles make it all worth while.
Here are the long awaited pictures of Riley's big arrival and first couple of weeks.
I would also like to thank our good friends Noelle, Ashley and Tamara for helping out with Chase while I was in the hospital. We are fortunate to have such great friends to step in and help out - THANK YOU!!!!
We were lucky to have my mom and sister's come into town; Cyd and Steph just happen to have a business meeting the week after Riley was born and they were able to convince Lisa to come out with them. It was great to have them here and although I wasn't able to join them while they shopped, it was great to hang out, eat, laugh and watch TV. While Cyd and Steph were only here for a couple days it was great to see them. My mom and Lisa were able to stay a little longer, they were a great help with Chase and Riley. I'm not sure what I'll do with out an extra part of hands.
Thanks mom for cleaning my house before you left, truly I've never seen my bathroom floor look go good.
